Düsseldorf Convention and maximice bring back MICE Games Night and Think Tank

June, 11 2025

With two successful formats, Düsseldorf has further strengthened its role as an innovative MICE destination. On June 5, the second MICE Games Night took place at b’mine Düsseldorf in cooperation with maximice. More than 60 event professionals from Germany and across Europe took the opportunity to network in a relaxed atmosphere – with poker, roulette, and meaningful conversations.

The very next day, on June 6, Düsseldorf Convention and maximice hosted the Think Tank Extended at RheinRiff Düsseldorf. The focus was on four forward-thinking topics in the event industry: Artificial Intelligence, Sustainability, Certification, and Legacy. Around 80 participants took part in interactive sessions discussing challenges and opportunities for the future of events.

“We’re very pleased that with both formats we created an environment where professionalism and ease not only coexist but complement each other perfectly,” said Markus Lüthge, Managing Director of maximice.
Jens Ihsen, Director of Düsseldorf Convention and Managing Director of Visit Düsseldorf, also drew a positive conclusion: “The MICE Games Night and the Think Tank Extended show just how much innovation and community spirit our industry has – and that Düsseldorf is the ideal stage for it.”

The two formats demonstrate how well expert exchange and creative networking can go hand in hand – and how Düsseldorf, as host, provides new inspiration for the industry.

Düsseldorf Convention and maximice thank all partners who made the two events possible: b'mine Düsseldorf, RheinRiff, Broich.Catering, and BEVT.
